We take this opportunity to highlight that Consulmet SA is a separate and distinct juristic entity from Consulmet (Pty) Ltd (“Consulmet”), and in terms of South African law, the two enjoy separate and distinct juristic identities. Consulmet SA has the full support of Consulmet in these disputes.

We will not take any of the allegations and charges made publicly against us by any party “lying down.” We refute them all, and will pursue the matter through South Africa’s judicial system, with the best available legal and other advice.

We may at this time confirm that an agreement to mediate the disputes has come about, however, given the sensitive nature of the disputes, we are unable to provide any further particular detail at this time as such is subject to confidentiality, but we maintain our belief that these disputes may be resolved by the continuation of these mediation proceedings at the appropriate time.
