Mobile DMS Plants

Consulmet has developed considerable expertise in mobile mineral processing solutions and is familiar with the key design issues and constraints. We can supply many of our dense media separation plants and modules in trailer or skid-mounted configurations.

Exploration & Mobile Diamond Processing Plants

Consulmet’s mobile diamond processing units are ideal for on-site exploration and sampling activities. These units range from 1 to 30tph in capacity; and are trailer or skid-mounted plants that can easily be disassembled for road transport and reassembling at other locations. An advantage of our mobile DMS plants is the elimination of time consuming and costly feasibility studies through bulk sampling campaigns.

Each diamond exploration unit comprises the following:

  • DMS modules from 1tph to 10tph capacity with tracer test sampling points
  • ROM feed bin and scalping (up to 30tph capacity)
  • Feed scrubber with double skin trommel
  • Weigh feeder
  • Water supply system
  • Slimes disposal
  • MCC with sheeted operator shelter
  • Self-contained diesel power generation
  • Custom built trailer complete with outriggers

 

These mobile mining plants are designed to be fed by a Front-End Loader (client supplied) complete with load cells on the bucket to monitor feed tonnage. A front-end module can be added for the feed preparation of kimberlite ores.

Skid-Mounted Plants

Many of our mineral processing plants can be supplied in skid-mounted form for easy relocation (including towing for some units). We have previously supplied DMS modules, screening plants, and spiral modules in this configuration.

Ship-Mounted DMS & Recovery Plants

Consulmet designs and supplies ship-mounted DMS plants for marine diamond sampling, recovery, and production.
