DMS Plants

Consulmet’s MAT range of DMS plants feature a media densification circuit that has a reduced foot-print and height when compared to conventional gravity separation plants. The selection of optimal single-stage magnetic separators and densifiers ensure that ferrosilicon quality is not compromised whilst achieving industry-leading low consumption.

Our MAT range of DMS plants all incorporate:

  • A feed preparation module
  • A ferrosilicon recovery module
  • Automated density control
  • Dense media cyclone and product washing

Consulmet’s modular gravity separation plants provide better media separation than can be achieved using jigs. Our most popular dense media separation plant is the 50tph MAT-50 for the processing of diamond ore, chromite, iron ore and other heavy minerals.

All of our DMS plants can be supplied with customised feed preparation circuits. A spiral separator module can also be included to maximise mineral recovery.

Customised Feed Preparation Circuits

Consulmet can supply customised front end modules from simple screening modules through to full crushing and screening circuits incorporating primary, secondary and tertiary crushing stages and re-crush circuits. Our front end modules employ best-of-breed communition technologies including jaw crushers, cone crushers, roll crushers, HPGR, multi-deck vibrating screens and scrubbers.

Spiral Separators

Consulmet can supply spiral separators for the beneficiation of mineral sands and other fine minerals. Our spiral separator modules can be skid-mounted to minimise civil requirements and allow for easy relocation. As an option, process streams can be pumped between spiral banks to minimise structural height and civil costs.
