Our Commitment to the Environment, Health & Safety

Consulmet is committed to developing mineral mining technologies that minimise its environmental footprint; as well as providing a safe and healthy environment for all its employees.

Environment

At Consulmet we believe that mining and economic development does not need to be at the expense of the environment. In line with our green initiative, we are continually developing technologies, products and strategies that can minimise the carbon and environmental footprints of our projects and process plants. We endeavour to apply World Bank standards for environmental management to all of our projects.

Health and Safety

We believe that every employee has the right to a healthy and safe work environment. We have therefore developed and implemented an industry-leading programme that puts health and safety in the workplace at the core of all our undertakings.

Our engineers and project managers are trained to factor in health and safety from the inception of each project. We have worked successfully with our clients and other organizations to minimise all manner of health and safety incidents that might occur.
